Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christopher Robin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, LarsAke Jorgensson!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Robin.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jorgensson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Robin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jorgensson moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Robin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jorgensson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robin as he jumps to the side.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jorgensson.
Robin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Robin looks to score with a jab to the body but Jorgensson is just out of range.
Jorgensson dives in and grabs Robin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Robin pushes down on Jorgensson's head and hops out.
Robin looks to land a body kick but Jorgensson moved away.
Robin gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Jorgensson counters with a one-two to the body.
Jorgensson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Robin napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jorgensson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Robin is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jorgensson yanks on the arm and Robin is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jorgensson.
