Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Hill (ranked 3593 p4p, 3646 weight class) and Pop Corn (ranked 450 p4p, 456 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brian Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pop Corn! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill throws a combination that misses and Corn counters with a straight right hand. Brian Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hill throws a body punch but Corn moves out of range. Corn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hill is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Corn's half guard. Hill seems to be working for a kimura but Corn defends the submission attempt. Corn looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hill tries to pass the half guard into mount. Corn knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Corn wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Corn trying to hold on to Hill's head to control him but Hill postures up.
Hill is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hill has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corn actively working from the bottom here. Corn trying to control here.
Hill is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hill is looking for a kimura here.
Corn wants to control but Hill is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hill is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Corn is looking to improve his position.
Hill is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Corn sees it coming and defends easily. Corn gets full guard. Corn looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hill passes into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hill is trying to get an arm triangle but Corn is defending well. Hill wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Corn, who protects the arm well. Hill is staying tight to Corn's torso, preventing him from escaping. Hill wants to control but Corn is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Corn stops Hill from passing to mount. Corn tries to improve position but can't. Corn is not content to let Hill control the position. You can see the frustration on Corn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hill trying to control the position but Corn is working away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Corn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hill wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hill swings around for an armbar but Corn sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hill's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Hill dominated that round. That's time! Hill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Corn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hill looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Hill dives in and grabs Corn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Corn pushes down on Hill's head and hops out. A telegraphed right hand from Corn misses the target. Hill drops down looking for a counter takedown but Corn sprawls and moves away. Corn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hill to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hill trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hill is working hard here to advance position. Hill trying to control the position from guard on top but Corn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Corn being controlled here, momentarily. Hill advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. An elbow from Hill crashes against the mat.
Hill wants to control but Corn is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corn tries to improve position but can't. Hill tries for a kimura but Corn is defending well. Hill throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Corn works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Corn is refusing to be controlled, as Hill sits in half guard. Hill seems to be working for a kimura but Corn defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hill is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hill trying to control the action but Corn is working from the bottom. Hill is looking to advance position but Corn won't allow it. Hill with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Hill is working for a kimura but Corn is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corn is trying to control but can't.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hill darts in looking for a takedown but Corn gets double underhooks and turns Hill into the cage. Corn now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Corn is looking to control Hill's arms but Hill gets an underhook and turns him. Now Corn has his back to the cage. Hill is trying to pull guard but Corn has him pressed against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hill drags the fight down to the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hill keeping moving, preventing Corn from controlling successfully. Hill is trying to control the position but Corn postures up. Hill is adopting a defensive guard. Hill had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Corn defends it easily. Hill controlling the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Corn trying to control the position from guard on top but Hill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hill tries to land a sweep but no joy. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Hill dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Hill with a lazy takedown attempt and Corn counters with a nice uppercut. Jab from Corn. Corn staying out of range there. Hill gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Corn. The fighters circle momentarily. Corn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Corn connects with a crisp jab.
Hill is rocked! Hill clinches. Hill decides to pull guard. Corn trying to control the position from guard on top but Hill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hill looking for a sweep. Not yet Hill, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Corn postures up.
Hill has Corn pulled in close to control his posture. Hill trying to keep a closed guard but Corn is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Corn tries to sprawl but Hill drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hill prevents Corn from improving his position. Hill seems to be working for a kimura but Corn defends the submission attempt. Hill is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Corn is not content to let Hill control the position. Corn trying to control here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Corn is holding on to half guard well. Hill has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hill content just to control the position here. Pop Corn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Corn is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hill wants to control the pace but Corn is squirming around nicely. Corn flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Hill can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Corn is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Corn tries to lock up and control but Hill gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hill is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Corn has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Corn! Corn is looking to work some ground and pound but Hill has wrist control. Hill wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Brian Hill is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hill keeping moving, preventing Corn from controlling successfully. Hill is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Corn can do to turn this around? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hill manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Corn manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brian Hill. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hill, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
