Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kaengsaklek Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Sitsongrit.
A low kick lands for Sitsongrit.
Evans wants to clinch up but Sitsongrit keeps it at a distance.
A countering left hand to the body from Sitsongrit misses.
A punch lands to the side of Evans 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Evans stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sitsongrit.
We've been hearing reports that Evans has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sitsongrit lands a glancing blow to the side of Evans's head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sitsongrit, as that shot connected.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sitsongrit. Evans does a little dance to reset his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sitsongrit is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sitsongrit enables Evans to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sitsongrit manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
