Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zambosurian Inday (ranked 23676 p4p, 23659 weight class) and Mmm Mmm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 51 - 41 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 74 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Inday closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mmm did well to prevent Inday getting side control.
Mmm is trying to control but can't.
Mmm trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Inday manages to pass to mount!
Mmm wants to control but Inday is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Inday controlling the pace for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mmm tries to lock up and control but Inday gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mmm is desperately trying to improve his position but Inday has a good base and remains in mount.

Inday controlling from mount.
Mmm is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mmm doing his best to control the position. Can he escape?

Mmm is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Mmm holds on for dear life, controlling Inday's posture momentarily.

Zambosurian Inday dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Mmm.

Mmm fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Inday sprawls well initially but Mmm persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mmm thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Inday's head.
Mmm missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Mmm wants to free his trapped foot but Inday is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Inday is holding on to half guard well.
Zambosurian Inday overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mmm content to control rather than advance.
Mmm is trying to control. Inday wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Inday shoots in looking for a takedown but Mmm manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Inday's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Inday closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Mmm is trying to control Inday's posture but Inday avoids it.
Inday remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Inday tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Inday controls the position.
Inday working away.
A lull in the action here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mmm keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mmm thinks about the counter body kick.
Mmm looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Inday jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Inday is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mmm can do to turn this around?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Mmm throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Inday was covering up waiting for the punch and Mmm finishes the takedown easily into guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mmm Mmm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Mmm gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Inday to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Inday looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Mmm trying to keep a closed guard but Inday is proving a slippery customer.
Mmm is pulling down on Inday's head. It's preventing any offense from Inday, at least for the moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Inday missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Inday showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Inday shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mmm as he avoids it easily.

Inday manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mmm on his heels. He'll look to pass Mmm's guard now, I'm sure.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Inday is fighting to break Mmm's control of his arms but Mmm is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Inday stays in close to Mmm's body and controls the position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mmm holds on and takes a little breather.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mmm looking to control.
Mmm looking to hit a scissor sweep but Inday is one step ahead there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mmm fails with the takedown
and Inday counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mmm thinking.

And that's the end of the fight!
Zambosurian Inday showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Inday has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
