And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 11 losses; Jerry Curls! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Al Jhit manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Curls on his heels. He'll look to pass Curls's guard now, I'm sure. We've been hearing good reports from Al Jhit's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Curls is working for a submission of some sort.
