And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 7 losses; Rupert Helenius!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Helenius shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Brown moves into the clinch.
Helenius has Brown pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Brown manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Jab Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rupert Helenius.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Helenius has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
