Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bing Bang (ranked 1766 p4p, 3267 weight class) and Jarron Faith (ranked 122 p4p, 193 weight class). Bing Bang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bing Bang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarron Faith!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bang manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Faith on his heels. He'll look to pass Faith's guard now, I'm sure.
Faith is looking to stand back up but Bang counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Faith.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bang connects with a nice short shot to Faith's temple.
Faith is trying to maintain the position but Bang is very close to passing his half guard.

Faith tries to lock up and control but Bang gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Faith takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bang avoids the attempt from Faith to control.

Bang has hold of Faith's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Faith manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Bang lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Bang cracks Faith with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Faith is still in real trouble! Can Bang finish him?

Faith takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Bang's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 8:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bing Bang!
A very excited looking Bing Bang made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
