PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Radar (ranked 1339 p4p, 1083 weight class) and Alexandru Mircea (ranked 158 p4p, 135 weight class). Mircea has chosen Shatter as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mircea takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Radar shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mircea eats them both and turns towards Radar to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Radar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mircea - the referee stops the clock and Radar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mircea. Radar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Radar has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
