Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Booty Tickler (ranked 3089 p4p, 4396 weight class) and Nathan Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tickler fails to land the takedown.

Wade gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tickler has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wade is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Wade has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tickler uses from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tickler is looking to advance position but Wade has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Wade tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Wade jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tickler manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Tickler is trying to escape the position but Wade is controlling the position.
Let's hope that Wade has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Wade misses with a jab, cross combination.

Wade rushes Tickler and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Wade breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wade fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tickler, pushing him back against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tickler avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wade pulls Tickler in close to prevent any damage.
Tickler looking to sit in guard and control but Wade gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Tickler stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tickler wants it to stay on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Tickler is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wade defends well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tickler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wade controls the pace.

Wade is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Wade gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Tickler is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wade pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Tickler tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wade smiles and moves away.

Wade fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tickler to the ground. Wade is now in Tickler's guard.
Tickler is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tickler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wade drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wade jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tickler looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wade puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Wade seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Wade uses his free foot to push down on Tickler's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tickler.

Tickler is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Wade locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Tickler is forced to tap!
