Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Laperierre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Johnson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Laperierre defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Laperierre looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Laperierre not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Laperierre won't allow Johnson to sweep him here.
Laperierre wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position.
Laperierre got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Laperierre has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted.

Laperierre is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Laperierre might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Johnson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Laperierre should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Johnson has tightened it up now! Laperierre should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
