Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baby Goat (ranked 5371 p4p, 5799 weight class) and Andre Garcia (ranked 631 p4p, 647 weight class). Andre Garcia has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Baby Goat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andre Garcia! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Goat throws a poor cross that misses
and Garcia counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Goat! Goat manages to work his way to half guard, despite Garcia's best efforts. Garcia stops Goat from getting back to his feet.
Goat looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are battling for position here. Goat manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Garcia working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Goat's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garcia lands a couple of digs. Garcia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garcia content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Goat working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Garcia. Goat looking to hit a scissor sweep but Garcia is one step ahead there. Goat is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Goat looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Garcia is working Goat over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Goat had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Garcia defends it easily. Garcia with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Goat wants to control the position but Garcia says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Goat is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Garcia scores with a couple of nice shots. Garcia is nestled in close to Goat, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Garcia working Goat over with strikes. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Garcia connects with a nice short shot to Goat's temple.

Goat wants to control but Garcia is having none of it. Goat is looking to improve his position but Garcia isn't that keen on the idea. Goat sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Andre Garcia dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Goat fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Garcia looks to land a combination but Goat avoids it well. Goat throws a lazy body kick and Garcia counters with a takedown into side control. Garcia tries for a kimura but Goat is defending well. Goat is looking to reverse the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garcia scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. Goat is looking for a sweep. Garcia is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Goat tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Goat is trying to stand.
Garcia scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Garcia looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Goat with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Garcia throwing shots but Goat is blocking nicely.

Andre Garcia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Garcia avoids the head kick by Goat.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Goat wants to stand but Garcia has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Goat slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Goat works to advance to full mount. Garcia defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Goat is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Garcia can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The referee warns Garcia that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
It looks like Andre Garcia has been cut. Goat scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Garcia?
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Garcia is desperately trying to improve his position but Goat has a good base and remains in mount. Goat looking to secure an arm triangle but Garcia defends it well. Andre Garcia is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Goat lands a big shot there that rocks Garcia but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Baby Goat showed his dominance in that final round. Well Garcia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
