Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Begaye fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fournte sprawls well initially but Begaye persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fournte looking for submissions off his back.
We've been hearing good reports from Begaye's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Fournte is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Begaye pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fournte holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Begaye keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fournte's head.
Begaye lands a couple of digs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Begaye is working Fournte over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fournte is rocked!
Begaye arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Fournte's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
