The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Segamar shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Aldana eats them both and turns towards Segamar to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Aldana misses with a takedown attempt
and Segamar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Irene Aldana has been cut.
Aldana wants to clinch but Segamar slips to the side
and Segamar counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Segamar counters with a crisp one two that drops Aldana! Segamar thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Aldana to his feet! Aldana is in big trouble!

Severus Segamar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Irene Aldana.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Segamar counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Aldana to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Segamar!
