Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 25069 p4p, 4685 weight class) and Frans White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frans White!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White throws a series of strikes that have Zakrzewski backpedaling.
White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet.
White moves out of range as Zakrzewski throws a body kick.
White throws a sloppy head kick and Zakrzewski moves out of range easily.
Zakrzewski is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from White.
Zakrzewski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Zakrzewski closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming White to the mat! White manages to get full guard.
Zakrzewski wanted to stand there but White had control of the position.

White is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if White can do anything to dispel that myth.
Zakrzewski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

White has closed the distance and engaged Zakrzewski in a clinch.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Zakrzewski jumps guard but White stands there with Zakrzewski around his waist. Zakrzewski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

White is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zakrzewski pulls him back up using the underhooks.
White changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zakrzewski fights it off and pushes away nicely.

White is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Zakrzewski with a body shot.

White is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Zakrzewski is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but White is keeping busy.

White manages to break the clinch.

Zakrzewski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
White thuds his right hand into Zakrzewski's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
White leaves Zakrzewski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
White drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Zakrzewski defends it well.
Zakrzewski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
It looked like Zakrzewski was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

White's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and White duly obliges.

White gets in close and instigates a clinch.

White is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Zakrzewski is defending well.
Zakrzewski jumps guard but White turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

White gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
White prevents Zakrzewski from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

White takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
White wants to free his trapped foot but Zakrzewski is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Zakrzewski tries to kick White off but White keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Frans White dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

No luck with that takedown attempt from White.
Nice takedown defense from White. No joy for Zakrzewski on that attempt.
Zakrzewski is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zakrzewski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but White swivels and escapes.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krzysztof Zakrzewski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
White lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Krzysztof Zakrzewski has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White just leaning against Zakrzewski, taking a breather.
Zakrzewski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. White just stands there and leans against the cage.
White will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Zakrzewski up against the cage.

White wants to get back to his feet but Zakrzewski passes into half guard.
White has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
White wants to get back to full guard but Zakrzewski has passed into side control.
White tries to buck Zakrzewski off but Zakrzewski is having none of it.
White tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zakrzewski manages to capitalize on a mistake by White to take his back!

White defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Zakrzewski's arms.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

You can see the frustration on White's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
White prevents Zakrzewski from getting a body triangle.

Zakrzewski has the hooks in. White is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Zakrzewski passes his arm under White's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, White taps!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
