Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Smith!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith.
Sheznik scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sheznik lands a two punch combo.
Sheznik throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith fails to land the takedown.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nick Sheznik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Smith.
Sheznik misses with a series of wild punches.
Horrible takedown by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by Sheznik which made him look bad.
Smith looks gassed!
Sheznik throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sheznik swivels and escapes.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sheznik tries to work over Smith's front leg with a kick but Smith checks it.
Sheznik throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Smith on the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sheznik lands a left and a right that sends Smith crashing to the canvas! Sheznik dives into mount looking to finish!
Smith is rocked!
Smith takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Sheznik's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Sheznik!
