With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Entwhistle!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Entwhistle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lawson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like John Entwhistle has been cut.
Lawson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Entwhistle slips a jab from Lawson.
A left and a right from Entwhistle both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Tyler Lawson has been cut.
Lawson throws a jab when Entwhistle was well out of range.
Lawson throws out a powerful jab.
Entwhistle listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
We've been told by Lawson's head coaches at PhoQus Island Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Entwhistle scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Lawson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lawson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Entwhistle lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Entwhistle.
Entwhistle staying out of range there.
Entwhistle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sloppy strikes from Entwhistle. Those never looked like landing.
Entwhistle throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lawson.
Lawson lands with a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters circle momentarily. Entwhistle darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
John Entwhistle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lawson batters Entwhistle with a massive right followed by a huge left! Entwhistle is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Lawson lands a final crushing right hand to drop Entwhistle to the mat with a gruesome thud! Lawson is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tyler Lawson!
In his post fight interview, Tyler Lawson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
