Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Serra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miguel Torres!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Serra throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nice shot lands for Serra.
Torres ducks right into an uppercut from Serra.
Serra takes a swing at Torres's ribcage but misses.
Serra misses the shot to the body.
Serra misses with a looping right.
Torres defending well as Serra loads up on a big left hand.
Torres lands a leg kick that knocks Serra off balance momentarily.
Serra has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Torres feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Serras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Jack Serra has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Serra throws a hook but Torres blocks it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Torres! But no joy.
Torres throws a big shot that misses.
Jack Serra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Serra rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Torres counters with a nice uppercut.
Serra has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Serra there as he acknowledges the shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A nice leg kick lands there from Torres.

A big left from Serra misses.
Torres looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Torres moves out of range as Serra strikes.
Torres tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Serra is able to avoid easily.
A head kick by Torres misses
and Serra counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A jab from Serra does it's job there.
Serra throws a lazy right hand but Torres sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A nice side step and Torres releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Torres keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Serra.
A jab from Serra misses.
Serra misses with an uppercut.
Serra throws a hook but Torres avoids it easily.
Serra jabs Torres right on the nose. Torres blinks but takes it well.

and Serra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Torres missing with a left hand there. Serra was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Serra moves out of range of the strikes.
Serra takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Serra throws an off balance right hand
and Torres counters with a nice uppercut.

Torres waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Serra. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Serra to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Serra is rocked!
Torres is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Oh Serra is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Torres sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Serra doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Torres paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Serra - great work!
