Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Takahashi (ranked 3838 p4p, 3385 weight class) and Paolo Azzadiu (ranked 0 p4p, 400 weight class). Paolo Azzadiu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenji Takahashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paolo Azzadiu!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azzadiu will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Takahashi blocks the body kick.
It looked like Takahashi was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Azzadiu finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Azzadiu lands a leg kick that knocks Takahashi off balance momentarily.
Takahashi connects with a nice looking jab.
Azzadiu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Takahashi drops his shoulder and cracks Azzadiu with a huge uppercut! Azzadiu goes down! Can Takahashi finish him?
Azzadiu is rocked!
It looks like Paolo Azzadiu has been cut.

Takahashi slips nicely into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Takahashi connects with a nice short shot to Azzadiu's temple.

Azzadiu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Takahashi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Takahashi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Azzadiu seems to have recovered his senses.
Azzadiu tries to roll over but Takahashi keeps him under control.
Takahashi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Azzadiu's head.

Takahashi is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Takahashi lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Takahashi lands a couple of good shots and Azzadiu has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Azzadiu is taking damage to the body and head.
Takahashi punches Azzadiu on the ear.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takahashi is loading up with his shots from the back and Azzadiu is in big trouble! Azzadiu taps out to strikes and the fight is over!
