The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a hook but Fredricks blocks it.

It looks like JD Drake has been cut.
Fredricks has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Jungle Room in the buildup to the fight.

Fredricks looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Fredricks tries to bum rush Drake with a series of wild strikes but Drake uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Drake lands a big uppercut and Fredricks crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Fredricks looks OK. Drake waves Fredricks back to his feet!

Oh Fredricks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fredricks closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Fredricks seems to have got his legs back now.
Drake's coach down at Sprawl N Brawl was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Drake's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Fredricks appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Drake lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Fredricks up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Drake from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Fredricks's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

A relieved looking JD Drake thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
