Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshihiro Tajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshihiro Tajiri will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hunter Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihiro Tajiri! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tajiri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tajiri avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tajiri scoring well with a low kick there.
Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tajiri throws a right and a left that both miss. Tajiri throws a series of punches but Williams avoids them all with ease. Williams forces Tajiri back against the cage and clinches. Come on Williams - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tajiri clinches but Williams breaks the clinch and Williams counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Williams. Tajiri is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams drops back looking for a leg! Tajiri is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tajiri manages to kick Williams off! Williams jumps back into Tajiri's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams gets to his feet - Tajiri follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tajiri blocks a head kick by Williams.
Tajiri lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Williams backs up against the cage.
Williams takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Excellent takedown into side control there by Williams. Tajiri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tajiri looks gassed! You can see the frustration on Tajiri's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Williams decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tajiri to his feet. Tajiri misses with a few strikes there.
Tajiri fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Williams throws a right hand that Tajiri ducks under and follows up with a left that Tajiri also avoids with ease. Yoshihiro Tajiri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tajiri will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Williams closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams lands a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Williams stays in close to Tajiri's body and controls the position. Williams works over Tajiri with some ground and pound from guard. Williams forces his way into half guard. Williams looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Tajiri is looking to control Williams's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tajiri avoid being mounted? Williams controlling the action here. Williams's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Tajiri is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Williams has latched onto it... Big trouble! Williams pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Tajiri is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Williams!
