And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kevin Silveiro!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liviazoa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silveiro.
Liviazoa lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Silveiro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Liviazoa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Silveiro is in Liviazoa's guard.
Silveiro pushing down on Liviazoa's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Liviazoa is in trouble now - Silveiro has advanced to mount!
Silveiro working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Liviazoa turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Silveiro off and cradles Liviazoa's limp body as Silveiro celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Kevin Silveiro!
A very excited looking Kevin Silveiro rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
