Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aidan Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Frint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Frint! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frint fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fox. Frint throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Frint misses with a series of wild punches.
Fox will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Frint with a jab. Some wild striking there from Frint.
Frint moves into range and connects with a jab. Fox shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Frint pinned against the cage. Frint gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Frint moves away from the strike by Fox. Frint gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Frint turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Frint manages to end up in side control. Frint is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fox has escaped the position, nice work there. Frint looking to control but instead Fox has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Fox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fox takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Fox is breathing heavily. Frint wants to free his trapped foot but Fox is holding on for dear life with his legs. Frint works his way into side control. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Fox is trying to control Frint's posture but Frint avoids it. Frint trying to control the position but Fox is working away. Frint connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Fox some visible discomfort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Frint creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Fox is looking for a sweep. Frint working away. Fox is trying to get back to half guard. Fox taking a bit of punishment here - Frint scoring with strikes. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fox shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Frint counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Frint landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Frint thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fox is looking to improve his position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Frint lands a nice short elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frint moves into full mount! Fox won't be happy about that! Frint with good strikes from the mount here! Frint scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Frint landing punches. Fox is trying desperately to improve position. A nice elbow there by Frint. Fox tries to hold on but Frint postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox really wants to buck Frint off and get back to his feet. Frint wants to control the pace but Fox is squirming around nicely. Fox can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Frint working the ground and pound effectively.

Frint goes for an armbar but Fox turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fox. Frint wants to improve his position but instead Fox has moved into half guard.

Chris Frint showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Chris Frint is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Frint is looking to improve his position but Fox isn't that keen on the idea. Fox is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Frint is surviving well by controlling Fox's body position as best he can. Fox trying to control but he's not successful this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fox avoids the attempt from Frint to control. Aidan Fox has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fox working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aidan Fox. Well Frint has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
