Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Malek Namov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stony Marciano!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Namov swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Marciano unleashes a big counter combination but Namov bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
A lazy body kick from Namov
and Marciano counters with a left to the body.
Namov throws a head kick that misses
and Marciano counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Namov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
It seemed like Marciano was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We've been told by Namov's head coaches at Chuckles Strenght and Conditioning that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Namov lands a nice looking kick to the body. Marciano takes a step back to recover.
Marciano digs a good body shot into Namov's ribs.
Namov feints and then cracks Marciano's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Marciano down.
Marciano looks to land a combination. Namov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

and Marciano counters with a two punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marciano cracks Namov with a good jab.
Marciano bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Namov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marciano has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Namov tries a head kick but it misses.
Marciano blocks a head kick by Namov.
Marciano lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Namov throws a head kick but Marciano moves out of range.
Marciano drops Namov with a beautiful combination! Namov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Marciano is looking for the KO!
Namov is rocked!
Malek Namov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Namov gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Marciano gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Namov is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stony Marciano!
