Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickle misses with a takedown attempt
and Allen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pickle ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pickle attempts a counter takedown but Allen avoids it well and moves away.

Pickle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Allen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

A jab from Allen finds it's way through Pickle's defenses.

No joy there for Pickle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Allen enables Pickle to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Allen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Allen wants to get back to his feet but Pickle passes into half guard.

Allen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Pickle.

Pickle throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Pickle throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Allen because Pickle loaded up on that one.

Allen is trying to escape the mount but Pickle keeps good control and instead manages to take Allen's back.

Pickle is hanging on to Allen's back as he tries to escape.

Pickle has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Allen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Pickle is riding his opponent, not letting Allen buck him off.
Allen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pickle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

I really don't envy Allen right now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Allen has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Pickle.

That's time! Pickle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pickle tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Allen defends well and Pickle ends up having to push Allen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Allen throws a shot from downtown. Pickle moves away and avoids it.

and Pickle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fighters circling - Allen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Allen throws a hook but Pickle avoids it easily.

Allen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allen connects with a jab.

and Pickle counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pickle shoots in looking for a takedown. Allen tries to sprawl out of it but Pickle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Allen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Allen throws out a counter right but Pickle avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marty Pickle. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pickle lands a nice hook to Allen's body. Allen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Allen throws a big shot that misses.
Allen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pickle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Allen throws a hook to the side of Pickle's head but Pickle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Allen drops Pickle with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pickle looks back up at him and smiles so Allen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Pickle is rocked!
Allen is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Allen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Allen wants it to stay on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pickle is holding his hands too far apart here. Allen throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Pickle is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
