Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Head (ranked 24385 p4p, 2998 weight class) and Lost Bet (ranked 558 p4p, 349 weight class). Lost Bet will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Richard Head! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lost Bet! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Head takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bet lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A solid leg kick lands there for Bet.
Head could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bet scores with a shot to the body.
Bet looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A jab from Bet does it's job there.
It looks like Richard Head has been cut. Bet lands a really nice looking cross but Head seems unphased.
Bet fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Head tries a low kick but Bet avoids it. We've been hearing reports that Head has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Bet lands a nice looking body kick. Head is breathing heavily. Head on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bet connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's one minute gone in the round. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Head crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bet - the referee stops the clock and Head gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bet. Head manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bet dips to his left and cracks Head with an uppercut! Bet drops Head with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Head looks back up at him and smiles so Bet waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bet circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Head tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Bet wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lost Bet!
