Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tallulah Begaye (ranked 3036 p4p, 3085 weight class) and Bender Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tallulah Begaye has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tallulah Begaye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bender Jones! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to clinch up. Jones wants to clinch and Begaye counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Begaye slips a nice elbow through Jones's hands, connecting with Jones's forehead. Jones wants to get back to full guard. Jones is trying to control but can't.
Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones has hold of Begaye's hands but Begaye slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. We've been hearing good reports from Begaye's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Begaye scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Jones wants to improve his position but Begaye is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Begaye lands strikes from half guard. Begaye has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Begaye working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
It looks like Bender Jones has been cut. Jones looks winded! Begaye takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That has opened up Bender Jones's cut even more. Begaye content to control rather than advance. Begaye landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Begaye is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bender Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tallulah Begaye!
