Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matvey Buryckin (ranked 2403 p4p, 2887 weight class) and Lane Prilla (ranked 347 p4p, 421 weight class). Lane Prilla will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matvey Buryckin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lane Prilla! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Buryckin is defended easily by Prilla. A nice combination there by Buryckin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prilla takes one to the side of the head.
Prilla defending well as Buryckin loads up on a big left hand. Buryckin just misses with a punch to the body.
Prilla looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buryckin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Buryckin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Prilla is being controlled here. Buryckin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Prilla, who protects the arm well. Prilla tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Buryckin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Prilla is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Buryckin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Prilla can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buryckin tries to advance to mount but Prilla denies him. Buryckin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Prilla wants to control but Buryckin postures up. Prilla is not content to let Buryckin control the position. Prilla managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Buryckin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buryckin goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Prilla rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Buryckin's guard! Nice work there by Prilla! Buryckin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Prilla can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Prilla controlling from the top position. Buryckin looking for a guillotine here but Prilla defends easily.
Buryckin is looking for a triangle but Prilla pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buryckin has his foot on Prilla's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Prilla works his way back into a safe position though. Buryckin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Buryckin looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Prilla passes into half guard.
Buryckin is in trouble now - Prilla has advanced to mount! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Prilla looking to control and managing it successfully. Buryckin is looking to get to half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Matvey Buryckin dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. A chopping leg kick lands by Prilla. Buryckin lands a jab-cross combination. Buryckin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Prilla slips under a jab. Prilla swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. The fighters circling - Buryckin throws out the jab but it was never going to land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buryckin shoots for a takedown but Prilla saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A countering left hand to the body from Prilla misses. Buryckin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. It seemed like Prilla was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buryckin misses with an uppercut. Prilla saw that one coming. Prilla is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Buryckin with a body shot. Prilla swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Prilla slips a straight right by Buryckin. A little jabbing left from Prilla on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Buryckin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Buryckin dips to his left and cracks Prilla with an uppercut! Buryckin misses with a wild body shot. Prilla's coach down at Raptors Den MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Prilla's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Buryckin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matvey Buryckin. That's going to take a lot out of him. A left lands for Buryckin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prilla throws a push kick but Buryckin slaps the foot to one side. Good standup being displayed there by Buryckin as he connects with a hook. Buryckin fails with the takedown and Prilla counters with a straight right hand. Buryckin misses with a straight right. Buryckin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Buryckin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buryckin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Buryckin cracks Prilla with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Buryckin punishes Prilla's body with a nice straight punch. Prilla slips a straight right by Buryckin. Buryckin fails with a takedown attempt. Buryckin misses with a takedown and Prilla makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buryckin ducks under a wild hook from Prilla. Buryckin tries to counter with a takedown but Prilla is quick to defend against it. Buryckin shoots and misses and Prilla counters with a good low kick that Buryckin was not able to check. Buryckin misses the shot to the body. Buryckin shoots in looking for a takedown but Prilla manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buryckin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Prilla appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Matvey Buryckin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Prilla misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Buryckin.

Matvey Buryckin dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Buryckin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Prilla counters with a solid body kick. Buryckin fails to land the takedown. Buryckin shoots and misses enabling Prilla to counter with a crisp jab. Buryckin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Prilla sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Buryckin somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matvey Buryckin. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buryckin shoots and misses and Prilla counters with a low kick, right behind Buryckin 's knee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prilla closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Prilla stuffs the takedown. Prilla flicks out a counter leg kick but Buryckin steps away. Buryckin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Buryckin shoots for a double leg takedown but Prilla sprawls well. He's pushed Buryckin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Prilla looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Buryckin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Prilla in his tracks. Prilla pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Prilla leaves Buryckin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Prilla tries a quick counter leg kick but Buryckin is wise to it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buryckin throws an off balance right hand
and Prilla counters with a low kick, right behind Buryckin 's knee. Buryckin throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Buryckin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Prilla's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Prilla is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Buryckin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Prilla looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Prilla looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Prilla! Buryckin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prilla is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Buryckin will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Buryckin is looking for a sweep. Buryckin sneaks back into half guard. Buryckin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Prilla pulls his head out easily. Buryckin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Prilla is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buryckin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Prilla stopping the sweep attempt from Buryckin. Prilla wants to control from the top but Buryckin keeps moving. Prilla sitting in guard, not really doing much. Prilla must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Prilla is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Buryckin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Prilla is looking to defend but Buryckin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Prilla! Buryckin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Prilla taps out and this one is all over!
