Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randal Clappertron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akamaru Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Clappertron counters with a head kick that drops Jackson to the mat! Jackson scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Jackson dives in for a single leg takedown but Clappertron sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Clappertron is looking to counter with a body kick.
Jackson moves out of range of the body kick.
Jackson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

and Jackson counters with a takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jackson is putting a hurting on Clappertron here, landing some big shots from side control.
Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Clappertron is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Clappertron tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jackson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Jackson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Clappertron to see if he's OK.
The referee asks Jackson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jackson prefers to stall for the moment though.

Clappertron on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Clappertron tries to get out of the position.
Jackson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clappertron keeps working.
Clappertron is pushing Jackson's head away, looking to escape. Jackson manages to hold on to the position though.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Clappertron is looking for a sweep.

I wouldn't like to be where Clappertron is right now.

Jackson tries to score with some ground and pound. Clappertron controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jackson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Clappertron will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Jackson tries to score with some ground and pound. Clappertron controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
More stalling from Jackson.
Clappertron is looking to reverse the position.
Jackson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Akamaru Jackson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Clappertron throws a quick counter head kick but Jackson was just out of range.

Clappertron throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily.
And Jackson tries to counter it with a takedown but Clappertron pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Clappertron lands a nice looking body shot.
Clappertron throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson takes one to the side of the head.

Clappertron lands a big uppercut and Jackson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jackson looks OK. Clappertron waves Jackson back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Clappertron fakes the leg kick and cracks Jackson in the body.
Clappertron throws a shot to the body.
Clappertron measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Jackson! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Randal Clappertron!
Randal Clappertron took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
