Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taako Taaco (ranked 2723 p4p, 2744 weight class) and Tyke Bison (ranked 381 p4p, 382 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bison's choice of entrance music: Tash - Destruction. Tyke Bison will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taaco looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bison appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Bison throws a nice looking combination but Taaco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bison's coach down at Catch Wrestling L.A. was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bison's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Bison is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Taaco has his hands clasped together but Bison extends and breaks Taaco's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bison.
