Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Hernandes (ranked 3661 p4p, 4535 weight class) and Taekn Arrms (ranked 430 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arrms shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hernandes is trying to defend but Arrms finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Arrms really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hernandes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hernandes tries to kick Arrms off in order to stand up. Arrms Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Arrms postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hernandes is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Arrms, into his guard.
Arrms throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hernandes escapes and throws Arrms's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Arrms is looking to regain half guard here but Hernandes keeps moving and retains side control.

Arrms darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Arrms is looking for a kimura but Hernandes is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Arrms to get the leverage.
Arrms is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Arrms is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hernandes sees it coming and defends easily.

Taekn Arrms seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hernandes lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Arrms is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hernandes's half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are working up against the cage. Hernandes manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Hernandes is pressed up against the cage. Arrms has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hernandes down to the mat. Hernandes avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Arrms takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Arrms shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Arrms was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Arrms feints and as Hernandes raises his hands in defense, Arrms changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Arrms swings around for an armbar but Hernandes sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Arrms's guard.
