Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Masterson (ranked 1638 p4p, 4136 weight class) and Aeson Beckley (ranked 151 p4p, 339 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aeson Beckley!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masterson with a poor takedown
and Beckley counters with a nice uppercut.

Masterson fails with the takedown
and Beckley counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Masterson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Masterson misses with a takedown
and Beckley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Beckley pushes Masterson up against the cage in a clinch.
Masterson tries to pull guard but Beckley won't allow it.
Masterson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Beckley walks away with a smile on his face. Masterson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Beckley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Masterson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Beckley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Masterson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Masterson is breathing heavily.
Masterson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Beckley counters with a big right hand! Oh Masterson is in trouble here! Beckley follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
