Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilgonis Bahs (ranked 25249 p4p, 25312 weight class) and Evander Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson has chosen Baby one more time as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ilgonis Bahs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Evander Tyson! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bahs tries to land a body kick and Bahs takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bahs shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bahs missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bahs stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bahs thows a huge punch but Tyson dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bahs seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Bahs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson is trying to maintain the position but Bahs is very close to passing his half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Tyson looks winded! Bahs is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tyson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bahs. Bahs scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Evander Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyson fails with the takedown and Bahs counters with a series of strikes. Tyson will be more careful next time no doubt. Bahs is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tyson's half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bahs tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Bahs thows a huge punch but Tyson dodges it nicely.
Bahs seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bahs in particular looking to stall. Tyson is trying to get back to full guard. Bahs is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bahs wants to work for an arm triangle but Tyson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bahs frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bahs stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bahs feints a jab promting Tyson to slip. Bahs then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tyson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Evander Tyson has been cut. Bahs drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ilgonis Bahs dominated that round. The cut man is working on Evander Tyson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Bahs slaps away a takedown attempt from Tyson, before circling back to the center of the mat. It looked like Bahs was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Bahs moves into the clinch successfully.

Bahs turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Bahs working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Tyson is trying to escape the position but Bahs is controlling the position. Tyson is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tyson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bahs taking a breather here. Bahs tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Bahs working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tyson is letting Bahs control him for a moment. Bahs lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tyson down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bahs is trying to get an arm triangle but Tyson is defending well. Bahs is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Tyson's shoulder. That is not cool. Bahs has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bahs scores with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bahs shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bahs was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bahs working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bahs tries for a kimura but Tyson is defending well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tyson is trying to control Bahs's posture but Bahs avoids it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ilgonis Bahs dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Evander Tyson's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Bahs is looking to slow Tyson down with leg kicks. Bahs lands a big head kick that sends Tyson tumbling to the mat! Bahs takes a step backwards and waves Tyson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Tyson is rocked! Bahs shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Bahs slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Bahs lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Ilgonis Bahs!
