Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Izi Ruvik (ranked 25348 p4p, 6023 weight class) and Bobby Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen A Warrior's Call as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Izi Ruvik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bobby Brown! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruvik fails with a takedown attempt. Brown looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Brown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ruvik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ruvik is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Brown's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Ruvik is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brown's back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ruvik controls the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruvik somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Ruvik controls the action. Brown is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. What can Brown do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruvik has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Ruvik throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Brown is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ruvik.
Ruvik seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Brown for as long as he can get away with.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Brown looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A bit of a pause in the action here. Ruvik controlling the positon. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Izi Ruvik dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ruvik fails to land the takedown. Brown with the counter takedown but Ruvik avoids it easily. Ruvik shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ruvik fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Izi Ruvik. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brown shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ruvik defends it nicely. Izi Ruvik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown avoids the head kick by Ruvik.
Ruvik shoots in but no luck this time. Ruvik shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ruvik shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown avoids the head kick by Ruvik.
Brown gets a double leg takedown into Ruvik's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brown looking to pass the guard. Ruvik has Brown pulled in close to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ruvik manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brown has Ruvik in his guard.
Brown looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ruvik has picked Brown up and slammed him! Brown can't keep hold of the triangle and Ruvik manages to pass to side control! Brown seems a little lost for a moment, as Ruvik dominates the positioning. Ruvik trying to control the position but Brown is working away. Ruvik controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruvik continues to stall. Ruvik lands a nice forearm strike. Ruvik wants to control but Brown is keeping him busy. Brown being controlled for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ruvik controlling the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ruvik is defended easily by Brown. Ruvik misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ruvik fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brown avoids it really well and circles away. Ruvik stuffs the takedown attempt from Brown. Brown gets slowly back to his feet. Izi Ruvik is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ruvik changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Ruvik manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Izi Ruvik will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Ruvik pushes Brown up against the cage in a clinch. Brown goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ruvik prevents it.
Brown is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ruvik can't fight it off and eventually Brown manages to take the fight to the floor. Ruvik looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ruvik bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brown's guard. Ruvik is pushing down on Brown's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brown is fighting to maintain full guard but Ruvik has managed to sneak the leg through. Ruvik is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ruvik prevents Brown from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruvik seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Ruvik's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. More hug and hope from Ruvik. Brown is looking to control Ruvik's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brown avoid being mounted? Ruvik perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. This is a sustained period of stalling by Ruvik.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Ruvik as Brown shoots in. Ruvik throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Brown.
It looks like Bobby Brown has been cut. Ruvik goes for a double leg but Brown avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brown continues to drive forward. Ruvik is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Brown is defending well. A right hook to the body lands for Brown.
Ruvik is working for takedown but Brown is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Izi Ruvik. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brown lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ruvik wants to take the fight to the mat but Brown manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Brown gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ruvik regains guard.
Brown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Brown is fighting to break Ruvik's control of his arms but Ruvik is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Izi Ruvik overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruvik swivels though and keeps the full guard. Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ruvik works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ruvik looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Ruvik is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brown can do to turn this around? Brown works over Ruvik with some ground and pound from guard. Bobby Brown has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brown being controlled here momentarily. Ruvik tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Izi Ruvik. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ruvik, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
