Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddah Joe (ranked 1014 p4p, 1747 weight class) and Viktor Dragan (ranked 58 p4p, 99 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buddah Joe!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Viktor Dragan!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Dragan misses.
Joe half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Joe throws a sloppy head kick and Dragan moves out of range easily.
Joe drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Dragan scores with a body shot.
Dragan misses with a right hand
so Joe counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dragan wants to stand up but Joe is controlling him.
Joe controlling from the top position.
Joe slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Joe cracks Dragan with a big right hand but Dragan just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Dragan tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Joe with shots to the head and body - Dragan looks very uncomfortable down there.
It looks like Viktor Dragan has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dragan has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Dragan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dragan is trying to get back to his feet but Joe has full control of the position and if anything, Dragan has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Joe lands with a hammerfist to the side of Dragan's head.
That has opened up Viktor Dragan's cut even more.
Joe is cranking Dragan's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Dragan! He's tightened the choke and Dragan is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Buddah Joe!
Buddah Joe retains his super heavyweight title!
