Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Venicius Da Cunha (ranked 3071 p4p, 3304 weight class) and Bingus Khan (ranked 369 p4p, 387 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Venicius Da Cunha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bingus Khan!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws a jab but it's blocked by Da Cunha.
Da Cunha is looking to clinch.
Khan moves out of range of the body kick from Da Cunha.
Khan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Khan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bingus Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Da Cunha avoids the body shot from Khan.
Khan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Khan keeps the fight on the outside.
Despite the aggression on Khan's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Khan lands a jab.

Da Cunha tries to keep at a distance but Khan has taken the fight into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Da Cunha is trying to maintain a safe position but Khan gets an underhook and turns Da Cunha into the cage.
Da Cunha can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

Da Cunha motions for Khan to come forward. Da Cunha throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Khan looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Khan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Da Cunha.
Khan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Da Cunha's head.

The fight stays on the outside here - Da Cunha looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We've been hearing reports that Da Cunha has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Da Cunha swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.
Khan lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Khan cracks Da Cunha with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Khan closes the distance and pushes Da Cunha back into the cage.

Khan breaks from the clinch.
Da Cunha looks to land a body kick but Khan moved away.
Da Cunha fails in his attempt to clinch.
Khan throws out a counter right but Da Cunha avoids it with no problem.
Da Cunha on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Khan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Khan ducks under a wild hook from Da Cunha.
Khan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Da Cunha on the side of the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bingus Khan dominated that round.
That's time! Da Cunha's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Khan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Da Cunha moves in looking to clinch but Khan pushes him off.
Da Cunha throws the kick towards the body but Khan avoids it.
Khan looks to throw the jab but Da Cunha is out of range.
Da Cunha takes a jab right on the kisser.

Khan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Da Cunha has time to react.

Da Cunha is rocked!

Khan sends Da Cunha crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Khan is motioning to the referee to let Da Cunha up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Da Cunha is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bingus Khan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Khan is stalking Da Cunha. Da Cunha circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Khan, and it's lights out! Da Cunha really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bingus Khan!
Bingus Khan tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
