The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorshkov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ryan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gorshkov thinking.
Ryan lands a nice hook to Gorshkov's body. Gorshkov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gorshkov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Ryan gets a clinch.
Ryan lands a nice uppercut.
Ryan throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Gorshkov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ryan after a bit of a struggle.
Ryan cracks Gorshkov with a nice body shot.
Gorshkov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ryan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vasya Gorshkov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gorshkov is trying to drag Ryan to the mat but Ryan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ryan creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Gorshkov's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Gorshkov drops to his knees and Ryan pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
