The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson misses with a lunging right hand
letting Pulizzi counter with a right hand.
Simpson lands a head shot.
Simpson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Pulizzi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Simpson throwing a counter right hand but Pulizzi manages to avoid it.
Simpson misses with a hook. Pulizzi ducked under it nicely.
Pulizzi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pulizzi cracks Simpson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Simpson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Pulizzi to counter with a crisp jab.
Simpson misses with a hook.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pulizzi! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pulizzi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Simpson misses with a lunging right hand
and Simpson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pulizzi drops Simpson with a big left hand! Simpson is injured, injured bad! Pulizzi jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
