Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaarlo Susi (ranked 57 p4p, 195 weight class) and David Choke (ranked 11 p4p, 30 weight class). Kaarlo Susi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kaarlo Susi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, David Choke! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Choke shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Choke shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Susi pushes Choke off looking to stand but Choke dives back in and keeps control.
Choke sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Susi defending well though. Susi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Choke. Choke is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Choke is pressing down on Susi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Susi is holding on for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Susi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Choke is working away from the top position though. Choke wants to pass to mount but Susi is defending the position. Choke not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Susi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Choke pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Susi is keeping the position for now. Choke is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Susi is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Susi has escaped and now he's on top!
Choke is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Susi stays in close to Choke's body and controls the position. Susi trying to control but Choke is working from the bottom. Susi is stalling in the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Susi gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Choke wants to clinch. Susi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Susi attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Susi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Choke ducks under a wild hook from Susi. Choke is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Susi misses the shot to the body. Choke walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big right from Susi misses. Susi thows a left - swing and a miss! Susi scores with a punch to the head. Susi misses the shot to the body. Choke uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Susi.
Choke fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Susi misses with a wild body shot. And Choke tries to counter it with a takedown but Susi pushes his down on his head and steps out. Susi throws a hook but Choke avoids it easily. Choke shoots for a double leg takedown but Susi sprawls well. He's pushed Choke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Susi swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Susi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Choke counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Susi! Choke tries to score with some ground and pound. Susi controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Choke swings around for an armbar but Susi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Choke's guard. Susi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Susi trying to control the position from guard on top but Choke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Choke pushes a forearm under Susi's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Susi is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
