Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Project One (ranked 4383 p4p, 4385 weight class) and Project Two (ranked 579 p4p, 578 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Two. Beautiful body shot.
One gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Two counters with a straight right hand.
One moves out of range as Two throws a body kick.
One takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Project One has been cut.
One could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
One moves out of range of the body kick from Two.

Two clinches up with One and pushes him back against the ropes.
One blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Two misses with an elbow over the top.
One doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
One lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Two backwards.
A nice glancing elbow lands by One.

It looks like Project Two has been cut.
One lands a nice uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
One lands with a light punch inside.
Two lands a damaging elbow.
Two misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Two.
A short right from Two on the inside.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

One blocks an elbow strike from Two.

Two tries to throw a body punch but One avoids it by throwing Two back against the ropes.

One digs a right hand underneath Two's ribcage. Two let out a lung full of air as it connected.

One breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

One pushes off an throws an elbow but Two leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
One throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Two breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A left lands for One.
Two looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Two clobbers One with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

One fakes the leg kick and cracks Two in the body.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
One doesn't manage to clinch there - Two circles away.
Two misses with a straight left.
One tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Two manages to circle out of the way.
One misses with a body shot.
One tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Two is able to avoid easily.
One misses with a hook. Two ducked under it nicely.

One blocks an elbow strike.
One lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Two tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Two wants to get back to striking at distance but One won't allow it.
Two lands an elbow just above One 's eye.
One scores with a nice hook to the head.
One blocks a body shot from Two.
One scores with a shot to the side of Two's head.

One with an attempt at a knee that misses.
One pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
One goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Two takes an elbow to the forehead.
Two scores with a shot to the side of One's head.
Two dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes.
One works on Two's body with a couple of short punches.
Two is trying to maintain a safe position but One gets an underhook and turns Two into the ropes.

Two with an attempt at a knee that misses.
One is trying to force a seperation but Two has the dominant position.
One misses with an elbow over the top.
Two lands with a light punch inside.
A shot in the inside from One.
One blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
One stalling the fight.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Project Two will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Back to the action!

Two pushes One away with a front kick.
Two keeps One at a distance using the push kick.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Two!
One is looking to land body kicks.
One fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Two manages to avoid it.
Two scores with a decent looking hook.

One has closed the distance and engaged Two in a clinch.

Two misses with a punch to the body.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by One as Two tries to tie him up.
One digs a right hand underneath Two's ribcage. Two let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
One missing with knees to the body.
One is trying to maintain a safe position but Two gets an underhook and turns One into the ropes.

Two pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
One avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A quick step to the side and One tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
One scores with a one two! Two had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Two scores with a shot to the body.
One connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Two's hands.
Two looking to land some kicks to the body here.
One misses with a body kick.
One misses with a wild body shot.
Project Two seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Two feints and then cracks One's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow One down.
Two with the inside leg kick.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Two crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from One - the referee stops the clock and Two gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says One. Two manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
One is looking to clinch.
Two throws a counter combo.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Two.

Two changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

One lands an elbow that stopped Two in his tracks for a moment.

Two throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but One blocks it with crossed arms.

Two is looking to control One's arms but One gets an underhook and turns him. Now Two has his back to the ropes.

One fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
One lands a right hand.
Two is still on wobbly legs! Can One finish him?
Two misses with a knee strike.
Two seems to have recovered his senses.
One has Two pressed against the ropes, preventing Two from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
One pushes off an throws an elbow but Two leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

One lands an elbow just above Two 's eye.
Two dodges an elbow strike from One.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

One with a nice calf kick.
Two lands a straight punch to the body, keeping One at a distance.
One misses with an attempted mid kick.
Two throws a body kick that misses.
Two swings for the body but One moves out of range.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Project One will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


One fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Two, pushing him back against the ropes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
One is pushing Two up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
One using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Two has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Two fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
One listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
One lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Two throws an overhand right that lands on One's shoulder, as One tries to avoid the shot.

Two throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by One.
Two lands a glancing blow to the side of One's head.

One connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Two momentarily.

I would just about give that final round to Project Two.
I think Two has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
