PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maksud Magomedov (ranked 4588 p4p, 22030 weight class) and Jingky Bacolod (ranked 180 p4p, 246 weight class). Magomedov comes into the arena with Lezginka - Kavkaz blaring out of the sound system. Bacolod comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Havana kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bacolod misses with a takedown attempt - Magomedov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bacolod explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Bacolod walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Horrible takedown attempt by Bacolod or perhaps it was just good defense by Magomedov, which made it look bad.

Magomedov shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Magomedov slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Magomedov lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
