Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JJ Sutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beast Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beast Baker has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with JJ Sutton's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, JJ Sutton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Beast Baker! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sutton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baker as he avoids it easily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Baker, as that shot connected.
Sutton drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sutton in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Sutton wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Baker, who protects the arm well. Sutton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Baker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Baker wants to control but Sutton postures up. Baker is trying to improve his position. Sutton is looking to take a break and control but Baker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sutton swings around for an armbar but Baker sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sutton's guard. Sutton has a closed guard, preventing Baker from standing up. Sutton throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Baker escapes and throws Sutton's legs to the side, diving into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sutton manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Baker won't allow Sutton to pass to mount. Baker is trying to stand up here but Sutton is controlling him well. Sutton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Baker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Baker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sutton drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Baker dives on top into guard. Sutton is breathing heavily. Baker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sutton looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Baker trying to control but Sutton is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sutton is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Baker gets to his feet - Sutton follows without any prompting. Beast Baker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sutton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Baker lands with an overhand left.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sutton looks for a takedown but Baker sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JJ Sutton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baker thumps Sutton with a low kick. Baker throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Baker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Baker throws a combination. Sutton tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Baker drops Sutton with a straight right hand, right on the button! Baker follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
