Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Winnie Pooh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Destroyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Winnie Pooh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Devon Destroyer!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pooh moves out of range as Destroyer throws a body kick.
Winnie Pooh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Destroyer misses with a low kick.
No luck for Pooh with that takedown attempt.
A nice inside leg kick there by Destroyer. That's going to slow Pooh down.
Pooh misses with a low kick as Destroyer jumps back.
Pooh shoots in but no luck this time.
Pooh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Destroyer's guard.
Destroyer wants to get back to his feet but Pooh is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Destroyer seems keen to control Pooh's posture.
Destroyer wants to stand and escape but Pooh is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pooh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pooh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Destroyer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Destroyer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pooh. That did some damage!
Destroyer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pooh walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Pooh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Destroyer pinned against the cage. Destroyer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

It looks like Winnie Pooh has been cut.

Pooh moves in looking to clinch but Destroyer pushes him off.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pooh looks up at the clock and then as Destroyer takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pooh smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Destroyer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pooh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pooh is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Destroyer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Pooh tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pooh has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Pooh goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Destroyer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pooh but great work by Destroyer.

Horrible takedown by Pooh or perhaps it was just good defense by Destroyer which made him look bad.

Devon Destroyer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Pooh is trying to drag Destroyer to the mat but Destroyer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Destroyer is pushing Pooh up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Pooh is looking for a triangle but Destroyer pushes his legs off easily.

Destroyer tries to work over Pooh's front leg with a kick but Pooh checks it.

Pooh seems to be working for a kimura but Destroyer defends the submission attempt.

Pooh is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Destroyer is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
