Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Viktor Petkovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Powers!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petkovic drives through and clinches with Powers against the cage.
Powers keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Petkovic's efforts to push away.
Powers throws a knee to the head but misses.
Powers manages to break the clinch.
Powers shoots in for a double leg but Petkovic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Petkovic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Powers, pushing him back against the cage.
Petkovic gets through Powers's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Powers fails to pull guard.
Powers with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Powers manages to break the clinch.
Petkovic scores with a jab to the head.
Powers misses with a double jab
and Petkovic counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Ryan Powers has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Petkovic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Powers tries to bum rush Petkovic with a series of wild strikes but Petkovic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Oooooh!!! Petkovic has knocked Powers down with a huge combo! Petkovic steps away and waves a wobbly Powers back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Powers is rocked!
Petkovic connects with a stiff jab that staggers Powers - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Viktor Petkovic!
