Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donny Knightley (ranked 960 p4p, 1390 weight class) and Hudson Clarkson (ranked 128 p4p, 188 weight class). Knightley comes to the cage accompanied by Some Bodies Gonna Get It ft. Three-Six Mafia. Hudson Clarkson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Donny Knightley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hudson Clarkson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarkson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Clarkson shoots in looking for a takedown. Knightley tries to sprawl out of it but Clarkson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Knightley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Knightley slaps away a takedown attempt from Clarkson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Donny Knightley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hudson Clarkson.
Nice sprawl there from Knightley as Clarkson shoots in.

Clarkson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Knightley is looking to get back to is feet but Clarkson passes into side control.

Knightley throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Clarkson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Hudson Clarkson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clarkson throws a jab when Knightley was well out of range.
Knightley scores with a sloppy right hand. Clarkson should have avoided that one.
Clarkson misses with a takedown attempt - Knightley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clarkson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Knightley pinned against the cage. Knightley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Knightley went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Clarkson checks a low kick from Knightley.
Clarkson shoots and misses
and Knightley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Clarkson goes for a double leg but Knightley avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Knightley continues to drive forward.
It looked like Knightley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Clarkson darts in looking for a takedown but Knightley gets double underhooks and turns Clarkson into the cage.
Knightley feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Clarkson shoots in looking for a takedown. Knightley tries to sprawl out of it but Clarkson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Knightley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Knightley was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Knightley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clarkson.
As Clarkson backs away, Knightley returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Clarkson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knightley is fending him off so far but Clarkson persists. Nope, Knightley circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Clarkson.
Knightley fires out a quick counter leg kick but Clarkson just manages to avoid it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Knightley cracks Clarkson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Clarkson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Knightley finish him?

Clarkson is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Clarkson on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Clarkson is still on wobbly legs! Can Knightley finish him?
Clarkson looks winded!
Clarkson gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Knightley points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Clarkson wakes up just in time to hear Knightley thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Donny Knightley!
A very excited looking Donny Knightley made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
