Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Barry Jones (ranked 24454 p4p, 24377 weight class) and TJ Stuber (ranked 381 p4p, 379 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Barry Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, TJ Stuber! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stuber uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones. Stuber gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jones. Stuber takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Stuber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Stuber persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. Jones is looking to counter punch. Jones keeps the fight on the outside. Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Jones jabs Stuber right on the nose. Stuber blinks but takes it well. Stuber slips under a jab. Stuber throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem. Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Stuber on that attempt. Stuber takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jones tests Stuber's chin there with a solid looking shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stuber displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab. Stuber shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stuber showed some decent athleticism there. Jones has one foot on Stuber's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stuber sees it coming and avoids it easily. A big left from Jones misses. Nice cross by Jones. Jones is breathing heavily. Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stuber to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stuber gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Stuber shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Barry Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Stuber. Stuber ducks under a wild hook from Jones. Stuber throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Jones throws a lazy uppercut
and Stuber counters with a single leg into guard. Jones didn't expect that. The fighters are working up against the cage. Jones manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stuber's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones misses with a hook. Stuber is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Jones misses with an uppercut. Stuber tries to counter with a clinch but Jones shakes him off and moves away. Stuber slips under a jab from Jones. Stuber bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Stuber slips a jab from Jones. Stuber staying out of range there. Stuber is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Stuber shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Stuber was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jones stops Stuber from passing to mount. Stuber trying to control the position but Jones is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stuber stands up and we're back to a striking position. Stuber will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones looks to throw the jab but Stuber is out of range. Jones looks to land a right hand but Stuber moved out of range. Stuber fails with the takedown. Stuber scores with a one two! Jones had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Stuber tries to move into range but Jones moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Jones is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Stuber, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stuber momentarily.
Stuber tries to move into range but Jones moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Stuber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones. Jones misses with a looping left. Stuber dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stuber trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Stuber is looking to pass into half guard but Jones pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jones is in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stuber controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself. Stuber can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Barry Jones dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Stuber staying out of range there. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Stuber slips under a jab from Jones. Stuber keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones. Stuber gets a double leg takedown into Jones's guard. Jones is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Stuber tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jones just stands there and leans against the cage. Stuber keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jones's efforts to push away. Stuber jumps guard but Jones stands there with Stuber around his waist. Stuber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stuber gets control of Jones's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stuber will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Jones stops Stuber from standing up. Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Stuber is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Stuber lands a good elbow from the bottom. Jones is stalling in the full guard. Jones continues to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stuber has an active guard here but Jones has managed to pass into half guard.
Jones passes into side control, despite Stuber's attempt to control the position.
Jones controlling from side mount. Jones working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stuber might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stuber will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Stuber wants to control but Jones postures up. Jones content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Stuber keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones. Jones looks to land a left hand but Stuber moved out of range nicely. A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target. Jones loads up on a big right hand but Stuber slips the punch. Stuber wants to counter with a clinch but Jones pushes him away. Stuber shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Barry Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Stuber. Jones scores with the left hand. Stuber knows he should have avoided that one. Stuber wants to clinch. Jones with a nice cross.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stuber is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jones thows a left - swing and a miss! Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Stuber shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. A left lands for Jones. Jones throws a hook to the side of Stuber's head but Stuber sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Barry Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Stuber drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stuber moves into the clinch. Jones working hard to break the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jones misses with a right hand and Stuber counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stuber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Stuber persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. Stuber shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jones was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jones misses with a looping right. Jones looks to land a left hand but Stuber moved out of range nicely. Stuber tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Stuber scores with a head kick. Jones tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Stuber uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones. Stuber defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand. TJ Stuber is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stuber doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.

Stuber is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.

Stuber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jones is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Stuber staying out of range there. Stuber clinches with his opponent.
Stuber escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones throws the left hand but Stuber avoids the punch easily. Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stuber. Stuber slips under a jab from Jones.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stuber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones. The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Stuber misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stuber takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jones lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Stuber fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage. Stuber keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jones's efforts to push away. Stuber jumps guard but Jones stands there with Stuber around his waist. Stuber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Stuber changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jones fights it off and pushes away nicely.

A punch lands to the side of Stuber 's head but he takes it in his stride. Stuber staying out of range there. Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stuber. Jones throws a lazy right hand but Stuber sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. TJ Stuber has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stuber slips under a jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Barry Jones showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
