And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 11 losses; Jacque Joteel!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Yves DeLean.

Joteel tries to clinch up but Manson circles away and keeps his distance.
Manson keeps the fight on the outside.
Manson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Joteel sprawls and moves away.

Manson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Joteel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manson has managed to get both his arms back between Joteel's legs - danger averted.
Manson passes Joteel's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Manson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Manson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Joteel is looking to escape.
Joteel really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manson avoids the attempt from Joteel to control.
Manson wants to control the pace but Joteel is squirming around nicely.

Manson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Joteel defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Manson keeps control of the position as Joteel tries to break free.
Manson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Joteel has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Manson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Joteel taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Manson doesn't care though - he's delighted!
