Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dzsoni Botos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nero Angelo!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Botos. Angelo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Angelo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Angelo doesn't manage to clinch there - Botos circles away.
Angelo misses the shot to the body.
Botos thuds a left hand into Angelo's body.
Dzsoni Botos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Angelo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Angelo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Angelo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Botos throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Botos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Angelo.
Angelo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Nero Angelo has been cut.
Botos tries to keep at a distance but Angelo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Angelo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice defenses there by Angelo.

Botos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Angelo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Botos finds it's way round the side to connect with Angelo's head.
Angelo is looking to clinch.

Angelo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jab, jab by Angelo - just one landing.
Angelo tries to clinch but Botos is having none of it.
Botos throws a nice looking combination but Angelo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Angelo walks into a left hand.
Nice shot lands for Botos.
Angelo dives in for a single leg takedown but Botos sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Angelo misses with a body kick.
Botos lunges at Angelo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Angelo's hand.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Angelo clinches.
Botos scores with a shot to the side of Angelo's head.
Angelo jumps guard and drags Botos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Angelo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Botos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Botos throwing strikes but missing.
Angelo wants to stand and escape but Botos is having none of it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Angelo is on top in guard.
Botos is trying to keep Angelo in close.
Angelo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Angelo passes Botos's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Angelo prevents Botos from standing back up.
Angelo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Botos is in trouble now - Angelo has advanced to mount!
Angelo wants to control the pace but Botos is squirming around nicely.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dzsoni Botos dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Nero Angelo's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Angelo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Angelo tries for a takedown but Botos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Botos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Angelo can do to turn this around?

Botos is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Angelo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nero Angelo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Angelo is looking to clinch.
Angelo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Botos changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Angelo darts in looking for a takedown but Botos gets double underhooks and turns Angelo into the cage.
Dzsoni Botos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nero Angelo.
Angelo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Botos finds it's way round the side to connect with Angelo's head.
Botos lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Botos lands a glancing blow to the side of Angelo's head.
Angelo is rocked!
Angelo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Botos pinned against the cage. Botos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Botos changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Angelo is still on wobbly legs! Can Botos finish him?
Angelo is breathing heavily.
Angelo misses with a jab, cross combination.
BOOM! Botos lands a beautiful left hook that drops Angelo. Angelo tries to recover but Botos is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Angelo lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
