The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Buticchio. Beautiful body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Buticchio. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Buticchio.
Buticchio fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Buticchio misses with a straight left.
Buticchio ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Buticchio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kekoa was well out of range. Poor timing from Buticchio.
Kekoa moves forwards but Buticchio connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Buticchio lands a nice hook to Kekoa's body. Kekoa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

It looked like Kekoa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Buticchio misses the shot to the body.
Kekoa was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kekoa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looked like Kekoa was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Buticchio.

Buticchio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Buticchio takes a swing at Kekoa's ribcage but misses.
Buticchio ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kekoa moves away.

Kekoa is rocked!
Kekoa looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kekoa gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Buticchio gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Kekoa is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
