The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Devito shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Devito pushes down on Guzman's leg and manages to get into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Devito not doing much here.
Devito trying to control the action but Guzman is working from the bottom. Devito prevents Guzman from improving his position. Devito passes to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Guzman squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Devito lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Devito working for a submission but Guzman is keeping him at bay. Guzman tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Devito takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Guzman holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Devito tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Guzman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Devito on the ground. Devito landing strikes from the mount. Devito is landing with some decent strikes but Guzman is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Devito sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Devito looking to finish Guzman with some ground and pound. This is bad for Guzman! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donny Devito dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Guzman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Devito pinned against the cage. Devito gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Devito clinches. Guzman with a knee to the head.
Devito breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The fight moves into the clinch position. Devito displaying some good clinch control by pressing Guzman up against the cage. Devito misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Guzman.
Guzman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Guzman gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Devito stops a takedown attempt from Guzman.

That's one minute gone in the round. Guzman wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Devito has had enough of the clinch but Guzman keeps him there for the moment. Devito wants to break free but Guzman has control.

Guzman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pedro Guzman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guzman connects with a high kick. Guzman tries to clinch but fails miserably and Devito decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Guzman's guard. Guzman is looking to stand up but Devito isn't so interested in that idea. Devito is looking to work some ground and pound but Guzman has wrist control. Guzman wants to stand up but Devito is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Devito passes easily into side control. Nice work. Devito in side control lands a decent elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! Devito decides to stand back up. Guzman connects with a right hand. Devito shakes it off. Devito scores a takedown into full mount! Devito tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guzman is looking to get to half guard. Devito lands a nice shot to the head. Devito lands a big elbow. Devito controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Devito there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

It looks like Pedro Guzman has been cut. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Devito scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Devito working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donny Devito showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Pedro Guzman's cut. That's time! Guzman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Devito takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Devito looks for a takedown but Guzman sprawls well. Guzman is looking to clinch but Devito is avoiding it.
Devito moves in looking to clinch but Guzman pushes him off. Guzman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Devito tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Guzman paws at him with a jab and circles away. Guzman misses with a few strikes there.
Guzman fails in his attempt to clinch. Guzman drops Devito with a left right combo! Guzman follows him down to the ground into side control.
Devito is rocked! Devito tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Guzman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Devito is still in real trouble! Can Guzman finish him? Devito takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Guzman decides to stand up, so the ref orders Devito to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guzman circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Devito tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Guzman wins by KO!
