PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sophus Antias (ranked 4531 p4p, 24409 weight class) and Lysander Pollio (ranked 203 p4p, 257 weight class). Antias comes into the arena with Bro hymn blaring out of the sound system. Pollio has chosen I'd Love To Knock The Hell Out Of You as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sophus Antias!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lysander Pollio!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pollio closes the distance and pushes Antias back into the cage.

Pollio has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Antias uses from the top position.

Antias drops back looking for a leg! Pollio is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pollio manages to kick Antias off! Antias jumps back into Pollio's guard.

We've been informed that Pollio has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Antias looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Pollio is defending well. Antias quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Pollio has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Antias celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
